Yeah it being promoted as a story sequel really caught my attention. I was expecting just a sort of fluff, side-story for the game, but if they're treating it like a sequel and going all out with it, I can't help but to be drawn to it. I mean, I was drawn to it before because more musou is always welcome. But I'm even more interested now.

Also, is the new girl from Royale in this? Or just the OG crew?

I thought it always was that way? I don't remember where I got that impression (maybe just from the trailers) but I never thought it wasn't going to be a sequel of some kind.

I mean there's technically continuations to P4 in a fighting and music game so this felt like it made more sense than those.

I thought it was going to be more in line story-wise to those other 2 games you mentioned, more like a fun side-story sort of thing as opposed to a full-on story sequel/continuation
