Nobody would care if Cersei killed Dany and her group. The people in King's Landing are extremely fickle and they think Dany is a savage coming to kill them all anyway.

That kind of meeting at the end between Dany and Cersei was relatively common for hundreds of years prior to the start of a battle. You try to negotiate peace in good faith, etc. I don’t really knock them for it.
Cersei has shown over and over she doesn't negotiate in good faith.
Did we already forget the blown up sept?
I initially said the same thing about the range.... but out of all the stupid-logic-bullshit in the episode, I've just assumed that the dragon and army were "out of range" but wanted to show them closer so the video shots didn't look dumb (and so Tyrion walking forward didn't take 9 years).
This show should just be called "Our writing has sucked since we departed from GRRM's source material and our writers also have no concept of battle tactics, nor do they run their scripts by anyone that does."
if grrm is such a good writer why doesn't he finish the fuckin story lmao
if anyone is to blame it's that dude
I'm convinced both Ghost and Tormund are going to return
He already has, you just weren't looking close enough.
Spoiler: show

Looking back, this may have been one of the lowest points of GoT.
