Ahh, so last week was the 2 out of 3 falls matches to prevent any wrestling during commercials. This week is an elimination match where they take the commercial off to reset. I wasn't sure if I was going to take that rumor/report seriously, but makes sense so far.

Also, who is challenging whom in this match? Ignoring that one of those teams lost last night and is suddenly the "top challenger", I'm so confused.

Yeah, it was made official some time (on twitter, etc.) while the show was running. Who cares about why the old man showed up or any of that. Just book the match for reasons. Am I crazy for thinking that would be something worth putting at the end of the damn show, rather than that other match? You know, not only give people this feeling that something happened during the final hour for once, plus give people a hook to get them to want to watch next week? Instead it was "so... is he going to say why he was there, or did he just get in a car and leave?"

Dave on WOR says Raw attendance was around 3500 which makes it the worst attended Raw in several years—he didn’t know exactly how long but he’ll research it later.

Also Rollins went on a podcast with SI and had a little spicy retort to Ambrose’s comments on Jericho’s podcast.

I'd be willing to give him a pass on a lot of this if he weren't so boring on screen. One of my favorite comments about the Ospreay stuff was how it takes a special person to be the one to look like a jackass when having a twitter conversation with Will Ospreay.

As for the attendance, tv tapings sound like a total nightmare, especially now with this no wrestling during commercials. I know that in the past they'd do commercials for the network, Komen, upcoming events, etc. when they actually had nothing going on, but now they're just creating more of these breaks.
