The web/social media team of course did not know this would be the actual draft order. Dave expects some changes to the draft order on Raw tonight as a result of this embarrassing snafu.

Just finished watching KoPW. ZSJ/Mox couldn't make it because of the typhoon. A couple matches were shuffled around. Juice vs. Archer for the title. Overall? Ehhh. It was good, but I feel like I should expect more from a Big 4 PPV. Then again, I'm underwhelmed by NJPW the entire year, so yeah.

Liger/Suzuki was great. Mildly surprised that Suzuki won, but that's fine.

Ospreay/ELP was a bit of a disappointment. They did cool things, but it was a 27 minute match that felt like less than half of that was actual content. Cut off 10 minutes and that probably would have been great.

Happy that Archer won and figured he would some time in the next 6 months, but I felt that match was hurt by keeping the no DQ. Yeah, it worked into the finish, but they could have still kept plenty of the stuff in. Archer should be a bruiser foremost that also sometimes brings in that extra stuff. While I will cut them some slack because of having to change this match up late, it's like people didn't see the G1 and realize why Archer was one of the standouts. Juice looks like even more of a jackass with his new gear.

Ibushi/EVIL was great, but they could have a better match if it weren't with that stipulation. Okada/SANADA sucked as usual. Send that guy on excursion or something. I turned it off and didn't see SANADA crying after the match. Great, they're going to use that for video packages for the 5 singles matches these guys have against each other next year.

I'll always get hyped for Okada's boys wanting to fight Jay White, so I welcome whenever Goto challenges him. Here's hoping that Ishii/KENTA finally works out whenever that happens.

While I hadn't even thought about him possibly returning til people started talking about it on reddit, no Hiromu. But hey, there was Finlay! Hiromu returned from excursion 3 years ago at Power Struggle. Let's be serious. If he was going to return any time after BOSJ final and before WK, Power Struggle would be the time.

Even factoring in that Yukes isn't making the game anymore, to have such a substantial downgrade is absolutely ridiculous. They're still using the same engine and have access to all the same assets. At worst it should look exactly the same as the previous game, not substantially worse.

I've been checking out all of the 2k20 vids on /sc and yeah, that game is an absolute abomination. How a games graphics can regress by 10 years is beyond me but here we are.

I was going to say the old Smackdown ones (HCTP, SYM), but I think there may have been one SVR that was ok. Hasn't been a good wrestling game in 2-3 console generations.

Graphically they at least improved year after year until 2k20, even though they were as glitchy as a fucking Bethesda game, but this is like PS2 quality graphics all over again. Then again, I haven't touched a wrestling game since Smackdown on the playstation, and I gave up on that when the AI would fuck me over any time I got Chris Jericho close to the title scene.
