Man, I was a prude growing up. Had better things to do then trying to get past copyright blocks on spice channel, and went straight to finding porn online shortly after I got out of high school and got my own aol account.
Pity Bischoff is gone. Did someone say Three Minutes?
I ‘member manually adjusting the giant ass C-band satellite dish on the dirty channels just to get an outline of a silhouette of possibly boobs and that was enough for 14 year old me.
Game doesn't work unless you roll back your internal clock to 2019.
Pretty decent promo by Lance Archer for his upcoming match against Moxley at WK.
Earlier in the day was the Suzuki-Gun NYE party and BBQ! /s

I don't know if Ibushi winning on Night 1 is the top of my wish list, but it's pretty damn high. ZSJ retaining, Archer/Mox beating Juice, and Okada losing Night 2 are all up there. Anything else with a modicum of importance, I pretty much just want an enjoyable match if possible.... *stares at GoD/Jericho*
That's technically tomorrow unless you're a filthy west coaster.
Speaking of west coast, didn't someone here go to the Super J Cup show in Washington? I finally got around to watching it (well, mostly had it on while doing other stuff) and kept thinking that the lighting was bad on video, and could see it as potentially obnoxious in person.
Having no guardrails for a junior heavyweight tournament is a bizarre idea. They do that for Fantastica Mania (or is it BOSJ?) but I think they have them a little further back than normal, so people aren't crashing into the front row all the time and to give them space to actually do all the stuff. Putting those airport queue things at the show in Tacoma as if that'll serve any purpose whatsoever.
Also for anybody wondering, those times above are for the pre-show. Main card starts an hour later, at 3am.
I was front row for it. I don't remember having any problems with the lighting while there.
The line ropes or whatever were definitely weird though, I think it might have been a venue related decision because Defy (the promotion that was working with NJPW there) doesn't use them (they've used rails in the past but use nothing now, though there's more space between the ring and fans than there was here). And like you said, they didn't accomplish anything other than being annoying.
Ahh ok. I know early on I was thinking it didn't seem that well lit at times, but additionally it looked like they were low (in terms of their position) and might be blinding to people in the wrong spot.
I'm all for the idea of Sheamus having a quick mini-feud with Gable, though I'm unfortunately expecting them to write a leprechaun line for one of them (or Graves) if they do, and I'm preemptively rolling my eyes.
Are they really going to do the "What do you people want from me?" with Miz when that's what they're doing with Rollins? I'm good with it if he's going to go back heel, but find a different way.
OH SHIT. GIVE ME THE PALACE OF WISDOM!
That was it for Morrison??

I wasn't thinking of it in that way. I think there were some complaints about that, but it wasn't bad enough to ruin the night, thankfully.
The biggest complaint was about the shitty venue management/owner not allowing bags inside. No purses or anything. The merch line sucked because it was Chaos™ with no structure in a small area, but the show itself was overall great.
Bout fucking time the Usos are back
