11320 here, so nice to get an extremely high score on one of these.

I love how beautiful all the new zones are and how cool the new mounts/job skills are. Making a Viera now...

8700k@5ghz, undervolted/oced Vega 56 @1640mhz core, 880mhz memory, 1080mv. I play at 1080 ultrawide usually but did 1080p since it seems like that's what most everyone else is running the benchmark at. Creative zones and the Vieras look great! idk about the Hrothgar though...

Hrothgar truly are horrifically bad now that we have more references and animations to look at. Legit just modded roes.

not to sound like an apologist over a race I'll never play, but after toying around with them in the benchmark I really don't see the problem. I'm sure they borrowed plenty of assets from roes, but overall it seems like a really solid choice for anyone who enjoys a more beastly aesthetic

I actually like the Hrothgar a little more than Viera after being so hype for Viera. Don't get me wrong, it fucking sucks that Hrothgar can't change their hair unless they also want to change their face, but they're so unique and interesting-looking compared to everything else. The one I made last night came out a lot better than the Viera I made, and I even considered making him an alt over the Viera.

Also, unless I manage to make the most kickass Viera in the world, I can't see myself fantasiaing like I was convinced I would... running a Viera through the benchmark was like "eh ok" and running my Miqo through it was like "oh hey that's me in there". My identity is just too tied up in the character I've been playing since ARR.

Same for me, even going back to 1.0, never changed anything about the character after I first created it, I just like the look I made so much.
But I did play around with creating a Viera anyway, because I'm considering making an alt some time in ShB (she's very similar to my Miqote though haha)

I was really hoping with their bullshit talk about how much more customizable the new races would be, that we're still constrained by the retarded face type system, which should have been abolished with 2.0.

Probably won't even play at maximum, will probably play on High with a couple things off (like the glare/motion blur, shadows down a lil bit) but yeah. Pretty pleased since this is a new PC, compared to my old one.

Got a new 1440p display, kinda weird how it only dips 2k from 1080p.
