Is a Lando Disney+ show in the works? Cause that scene just screamed TV show adventures.

I loved the movie. Loved it. Don’t know how else they could’ve course corrected from TLJ and kept TLJ in existence. Lots of shit literally just hamfisted into the movie but what the fuck ever let it ride baby it’s Star Wars and I loved it.
Saw some review titles about how terrible this movie was. It wasnt great, but it wasnt bad either. I hated TLJ. I think I've only seen it twice; once opening night and once with my mom in theaters.
The beginning was too jumpy. Scenes lasted like 3 seconds and they were somewhere else. The trailers were also too spoilery. Should never have showed Lando. Should never have shown the huge fleet coming to rescue the resistance. Should never have had Palpatine's voice over, which should have led to no Palpatine pre-move scroll. They say he talked to everyone (essentially) using the force and tell them what was to come, but never mentioned it again. Quite a few plot holes I didnt like. Also, they had Duel of the Fates in the trailers. Yet I dont recall hearing it in the movie. Hux being the spy was silly but it led to the other Admiral blowing him the fuck away which was awesome
But this movie had Wedge fucking Antilles. And John Williams score was once again on fucking point. The music throwbacks with all the various themes, Leia, Yoda, Imperial, Kylo, etc was great.
I'd put it above TLJ, and probably all the prequels. Not sure about TFA. It may be that I like it better because I went in with such low expectations but I'm not sure. I went in spoiler free other than thinking it was going to be terrible and what they showed (a lot) in the trailers
Do they ever explain why Anakin/Vader reaches out to Rey, but never his own fucking grandson?

Whoever edited this film sure had a daunting task. They almost needed a movie by itself just fixing shit from TLJ before starting Rise of Skywalker proper.
My favorite part of the movie is basically the entire internet going yeah the movie was only an hour long cause they spent the first half just undoing the second one.
I'm not even mad at the directors. I'm mad that they couldnt plan out their billion dollar trilogy before making them.

What happened to Leia? Did she project herself to distract Kylo, essentially killing her? (Like Luke did?)
Yup. Took all her life force just to say "BOY!"

I believe that, yes, along with the line from Maz that what she has to do would take everything she had.
I don’t know if they explained how Rey and Kylo Ren could still project to each other through the Force when they explained in TLJ that it was Snoke doing it. I guess you could hand wave it away and say it was because of the force bond the two shared which did get mentioned by Palpatine, but it never implicitly explained this gave them that power.
Big big fucking miss not having Ben next to the twins staring at Rey at the end. Big miss I expect to be fixed in the Directors Cut.

I mean they were able to see each other even after Snoke was dead in TLJ too.
They started exploring all these new force abilities...in the last movie. That force heal shit cmon

Yo Baby Yoda can do it, it's canon.
Yeah if you watched mandolorian the night before it was a bit more palatable but I was surprised to see it used three times
