Nobody responded to the fact that:
1) Trilogy 1 and 2 both follow a specific pattern than the third trilogy started before RJ decided to subvert the shot out of the entire storyline
2) They made 7 movies literally about the skywalkers and RJ decides to try to make it about no one and or anyone still undecided
3) not even the actors were pleased with their characters in RJs monstrosity. If luke fucking skywalker says hey I’ve lived my entire life as this character this isn’t something I’d do why the fuck are you arguing it
4) the payoff in making Kylo redeemed back into Ben created one of if not the most excellent Star Wars scenes of the entire series (him seeing Han Solo again as a memory, reliving the scene like for like but then choosing the different path was fucking phenomenal I don’t care who you are that was clever and wonderful)
How people can defend RJs work is truly beyond me. Salodin up in here praising his work arguing that TLJ had a cohesive storyline that expanded upon TFA is ridiculous it literally did nothing.
Try this. Watch TFA then watch ROS. Guess what. You don’t even need TLJ for it to make sense.
Here’s another one: everyone was sad when Qui Gon Jin died.
Nobody would’ve given a shit if Poe, Fin or Rey for that matter, died.
Episode 1: the chosen one
Episode 2: the chosen one!
Episode 3: the chosen one!!
Episode 4: the chosen one!!!
Episode 5: the chosen one...!
Episode 6: finally the chosen one!
Episode 7: the chosen one...?
Episode 8: AnYonE CaN bE a HeRo
Episode 9: oh no it’s the chosen one!
Yeah I didn’t watch episode 8 I guess. Which is why I’m saying you can skip it.
Aside from casino planet 8 was p good. You’re welcome
Full list of Jedi voices heard by Rey

Hahhhaha thank you. That’s very appropriate.
I just want to know how much Harrison Ford pulled in for his minute and a half of screen time.
No joke that was the first thought that popped in my head when Han did his speech. "Welp, he probably got a million for this".
Few things I'm hearing is JJ Abrams clarified that Finn was going to tell Rey he could sense the force before they fell.
Also, apparently there were cut scenes with Lando explaining that he stayed on the planet they found him because he was looking for his lost daughter, who was Jannah, explaining the little back and forth they had at the end.
Had the same thought.
And also the sad realization that it means that Ahsoka is probably dead..
He wanted to tell her he was could feel the Force. Throughout the movie he makes comments about how he can feel her and sense things, and there's the scene near the Death Star ruins where he argues with Poe and tells him that he and Leia know what Rey's going through while Poe doesn't know.

It would seem a little too on the nose, oh they finally introduced a new black supporting character in the SW galaxy so of course they have to be related to Lando
