We’re gonna try it without the fast charger first, and if we feel like we need it, we’ll get it. My husband’s commute is fairly short, so we may not need a faster charge.


And haters gonna hate on the color. Enjoy your plain silver/white/black cars that 99% of the people have. We’ll be able to see our car in the parking lot from miles away. Fuck yeah. He named it Yoshi. They had all the colors offered, we picked this one because it’s so obnoxious it’s beautiful. We love it.

It'll probably work out ok just because of his short commute - as long as you plug in nightly. I'd familiarize yourself with places you can get a free faster charge nearby though for the rare times you'll need it. The Plugshare app is great.

Soon us Tesla owners can be lazy as fuck and summon our cars to us while in the parking lot, so we won’t have to look for it (party trick lol). But seriously congrats and welcome to the world of EV cars. How do you feel about how quiet the car is?

It's nice. I haven't driven it yet, but it definitely feels like a smooth ride. Thing has a million ways to brake, and I doubt I'd get used to any of those. Hubby says he's been doing the whole one-pedal driving and it's nice.
