Blu was OP when it was the only thing people were using. Right now. RUN is OP SMN is OP COR is OP every job on ambu polearm is OP Hybrid ws are OP. When everything is broken, nothing is broken.

It's easier to bitch about BLU when it's currently the only one broken.

When people were bitching about BLU, SMN was more OP than anything and nobody created threads specifically for that. I remember all the OF posts asking to nerf BLU, all the ffxiah posts etc. Now we have a ton of jobs that are 50x worse than anything BLU had going for it. I just love to keep bringing it up because I just laugh at how ridiculous the whole thing was. OMG blu has spells that its had since level 8 that give it a huge boost!! We must nerf Cocoon and BLU! Just made me roll my eyes but the bandwagon crew kept asking for a nerf.

BLU was the only job people took to HTBF, to Ambu, to attempt melee strategies for Escha, etc. BLU was vastly more all-encompassing at that era than any other job is today save maybe SMN. Thing is that SMN outside of an ACAF zerg is pretty shit so people preferring that job for a variety of content is just an idiot. BLU was the "only DD" to the community for all tiers of content, it was completely stupid. I will agree it shouldn't be getting cut out of decent gear coming out at this point though. The mob evasion nerf and BRD buff already did a LOT to bring BLU in line with the rest of the DD, and then they kept going.

You're massively downplaying how often people shouted for BLU, for all content. People shout for SMN for one off fights, mostly t3+'s, and occasionally that months Ambuscade. People shout for RNG/COR on specific ambuscade, or the rare specific wave 3 clear.

At the time BLU was considered OP this was the content of the game:

HTBF - BLU's can literally solo avatars, other jobs still have difficulty to this day at times. Everyone shouted for BLU.
SR - BLU was easily the reigning champ of this. Everyone shouted for BLU.
Zitah/Ru'aun t1/t2 - Everyone shouted for BLU.
Ambuscade, if melee - Everyone shouted for BLU.
Delve - Just take a BLU into Yorcia.
Alluvion Skirmish - Just take a BLU.

BLU was in ALL CONTENT aside from WoC/Kirin/t4 clears. I was even involved in a group that manaburned Pakecet...as BLU's. Just focus/malaise and spam spells, no magic bursts needed. Don't need to worry about adds, either, BLU's will kill them instantly anyway! Just toss BLU's at it!

But hey, you don't like admitting that your job was incredibly OP for a time, so that somehow makes it not OP, or something. But I mean hell, your Youtube channel shows how powerful BLU was, a lot of those early videos were things people struggled with hard at the time, and you're tanking and/or manaburning it on BLU of all things.

As if I didn't die back then over the course of an afternoon to Tenzen. As if I didn't lose back then to Fenrir from an eclpise bite 25 seconds after engaging. As if I didn't struggle back then to do Diabolos several times over and so forth. As if being a "career BLU" clouds my judgement and opinions from what I just said and went over. As if I don't keep telling people nothing I've done on BLU is impressive because it doesn't get to deploy the same mechanics as other jobs. Lol, fuck yourself, and your nonsense.

When I play a job that's FotM and OP, I'll freely admit it. The fact that you think because you didn't one shot everything while playing BLU means you aren't OP is silliness. Did you play as other jobs at that time? I'm not aware of you doing so. I played supports and I saw how BLU was the only DD able to easily do content. If you bent over to get everyone to haste cap, sure you could use others, but they didn't have the longevity or defenses of a BLU either. When Rudra Storm was minimum 20k and anyone could do it, they nerfed Rudra. When BST was press a button and AOE everything, it got nerfed. THF's and BST's will admit they were OP at that time (well, some BST's will at least) so why can't you admit BLU was OP in that time?

SMN right now reminds me of pre-nerf RNG during the 75 era. It’s ridiculously brain dead and OP as shit. Every NM is literally solvable by throwing more SMNs at it. Even then every single shout on asura is asking for Nirvana SMN lol.
