Just dug into the depths and holy crap the exploration is extremely fun. This is the way you design a goddamn good dungeon. Done with the mission here but no way I am leaving anytime soon.

A question though, will my brightbloom seeds remain lit at the same area I threw them after I zone out (leave the area) and come back later?

No. There are little monster frog guys that come and eat them. It won't matter though as you continue to light up the deaths. I dont think I ever came close to running out of seeds.

If you want real exploration love, make a hoverbike and attach a brightbloom seed to the front of it.

Ok, in expectation of a boss fight I took a detour and jumped off a sky island to do some cooking, etc.

…it’s been about 30 hours since I took that detour. The sense of exploration in this game is incredible, feels like they’ve done something positive about everything that wasn’t great in BoTW.

How long does it take to 100% this, 500 hours?

The first time I did that was fucking jaw dropping. Like. How did I not know that was going to exist.

Cuz they didn't really tell us about it in previews and it's mostly optional lol

I jumped in my first time with four hearts and no paraglider lol

That NPC next to the big one in Hyrule Field that says "stay away from there", my dumbass didnt listen of course. I thought it would be a safe landing in some water like a well.

Offf, I once dived down from about 4500-5000 ft into a pond of shallow water. I literally said “sorry” out loud to Link.

The whole chasm experience and underground is amazing so far. Feels kinda a bit old fashioned exploration but loving it a lot.
