I expect it to just move and wobble about like a plush doll. We haven't seen a good moogle design since OG XIV (which adhered to the classic look enough without coming off as mascot-like), and XII/TA before that.

This is totally true, and I keep thinking about this. As much as I like the idea in XIII-2 of Mog becoming Serah's weapons, I hate the look of the XIII moogles. (unfortunately, this is the one Dissidia uses, too). In Ivalice, Moogles are a proper beast race and look the part - they look awesome and cute at the same time. In XIV I think their design is perfect for what they're supposed to be. Now VII:R is gonna add another bad design to the quickly-growing pile. I don't know how much of this we can chalk up to difference in JP vs global aesthetic preference and how much is just the quirks of the art team.

I mean it isn't a huge deal unless it impacts Cait Sith's design negatively. But it's the first thing people have found to solidly criticize VII:R over, I guess.

Crystal Chronicles has some very interesting moogles. They are the fluffiest, and also barely have appendages. They're kind of weird, but I thought they were pretty cute in My Life as King (which is sadly the only CC game I've played).

The main fuck up for me with 7R is giving them proper eyes, and those cheekbones...

They've also fucked with the ears in the past already on both their take on moogles for FF:CC & Hoops 3-on-3/Mario Sports Mix, the latter being the next-closest "Koala" looking moogle.

I always found the Cait Sith mog puppet thing to be weird so I don't care much if that got reworked.

9 did them pretty well while adhering to the classic look and just integrating them about the game, although they come off as mascots at times (despite them working within the context of the fantasy world), which XI also has slight problem with.

So the SE store is pulling charges for the VII remake on the first week of December. 3 months before the release. They really are the stupidest company I can think of because why would they charge you for a game that is coming out in March during the December holiday. I am going to have to cancel my CE because I cannot afford $350 in December (for a game in March) when I have all my other holiday expenses and gifts I need to get

Anytime I order something from SE store it says they do pre-order charges when it ships, but they take the money out of my account right away. So I don't get how it works.

It sounds like an attempt to accumulate more interest on pre -orders by charging even earlier. And as Salodin said to increase revenue before the end of the fiscal year
