I'm not sure about Japan, but here the fiscal year starts July 1st. So even if they did the debit during the normal date, it would still apply towards the 19-20 fiscal year.

i'd say booking sales on one quarter vs another might be plausible, but lol @ "collecting interest". have you guys seen deposit rates in the last 10 years? assuming that the cash actually goes into a savings account or t-bills, the additional interest income would be a rounding error on their balance sheet.

it's more likely they just don't want collector's editions sitting around post-launch because it looks bad. they wanna get all the NSFs cleared out in advance of launch so they can put them up for sale before the ship date.

I don't think you can get the Collector's Edition with the Cloud Statue through Amazon. I pre-ordered a regular deluxe on Amazon a while back though.

hmm, $77.77 for a handful of tracks that were not recorded on or mastered for analog, pressed by god knows who, on a picturedisc that'll probably sound like utter garbage even in the most ideal circumstances. oh, and the cheapest shipping option is $21 so you may as well call it an even $100, lmao. hard, hard pass
