I thought the only good thing about Type-O was the OST.
Another school of super school kids fighting against other super school kids with 2 nations at war. Yawn.

The gameplay was fun as hell even if the plot is meh
Although I still need to go back and finish it
MAke the combat like Yakuza - Like a dragon and I’ll be happy.

I didn't think anything wrong with Type-0's story. Yeah it was tropey, but it was done well and the big surprises were pretty big and pretty dark for a FF title (Caetuna/Alex, death/revive cycle, Fal'cie and l'cie connections, etc).
Like the rest of Fabula, so much of the backstory was shoved into in-game reading material, journal references, and easter eggs. But it was a joy to play, much better than the slog of OG FFXV.
I think my biggest issue was the time limited quest system. I think it's why my run stopped, because I had to look everything up to optimize. Gotta redo it sometime.
I thoroughly enjoyed Type-0 and yes, that shit was dark.
Samurai Ace game when though.
Oh right, never.
Hated that shit in Lightning Returns too. Another game I never finished D:
Fuck, tell me about it. Another game that I enjoyed the gameplay but hated the time crunch. Not to mention how incredibly off the rails and out there the story was.
I have no idea how I platinum'd Persona 5 +_+
It's been a while since I finished it, but I remember in later stages the time crunch thing in LR not being as big a deal.
Yeah, you mostly panic at the beginning, but by the end it turns out that if you play with a guide or whatever you'll have a ton of days to skip, so it seems it's rather forgiving in that department
Oh, well, maybe someday I'll go back and give it another go. I finished XIII and XIII-2, so another OCD completionist side of me hates not having finished LR too lol
Saaame. It's just so far down my backlog atm. Another problem with it is it's been so long I feel like I'd need to restart. Maybe the mood will strike one day.
But I'm currently simultaneously playing Cyberpunk, FE Three Houses and replaying ME2 and Suikoden V so it's gonna be a while. And I think Nier Automata is at the top of my "go back and finish this game" list.
You can pretty much ignore the clock in LR. Just use Chronostasis liberally. Finished all main story quests and side quests by day 7 and I was playing blind.
Dunno if this is just a case of rumors going to rumor, or SE is actually going to re-release FFVIIR on PS5, but saw it mentioned last night that the announcement will be coming up. I'll be annoyed if PS4 version doesn't get an upgrade like most games, or if they take this re-releasing approach to add additional content instead of just doing DLC.
I'd be annoyed if the ps5 version comes out before the PC version...

PC release or bust, but knowing how shit Sony and SE are together, they’ll just milk the fuck out of everyone. The re-release will cause a backlash for sure but dumbasses will buy it either way.
