Yeah that's Twitter outrage. Friend asked a celeb at Disneyland a few years back for a photo. Celeb declined but instead he went on a few rides with her and her group.

Entitlement is a real fuckin problem.
Would it have been a union thing since SAG is still on strike?
If not, with some roles (especially ones that kids and younger ones would idolize) I kind of feel that "obligation" for lack of a better term comes with the role. But if he was being respectful in declining then you can't really get angry with him.
If it's a union thing then the kid can get fuckedddd

If he's saying he literally can't, they it may be a SAG thing I guess? I hadn't thought of that.
That "obligation" (see, there's that entitlement rearing its ugly head again) exists in the form of contracted appearances. If I'm trying to have a nice evening out and end up getting harassed by people wanting to plaster my picture and location all over social media so I can be harassed even more, you bet your ass I'm tellin folks to kick rocks.
ya if the a celeb is doing their own thing they have every right to be like no. Long as he wasn't a dick about it, I don't see the issue.
Bumpin' this thread over this nonsense nothingburger, sigh.
Also, ngl; As I was reading Anoat's post, I was hoping and praying that he didn't actually do anything that could've resulted in him getting "cut," or anything. This is despite many people's opinion on this guys acting skills. You just don't want to see this stuff happening (to anyone) and so far we have no room to believe Anthony Mackie is a bad/horrible person irl.
well it was definitely a crummy bump
Or a bumpy crumb.
Loki and the Marvels were finished before the strike started, anything going out after that is delayed or will have scab work done for a while
This could have gone in several threads so I'll summarize. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv...ey-1235614518/
Daredevil has fired lead writers and directors after Feige & others were very disappointed in what had been shot so far and the direction of the series. Supposedly the new series was going to be more legal drama than action heavy, with Daredevil not even appearing in costume until the 4th episode. Some scenes already shot will be kept but the series is being soft reboot again.
Marvel has had a clusterfuck of a time in their TV department, the article mentions how much of a mess Secret Invasion became with delays and project lead changes multiple times. She-Hulk and Moon Knight showrunner changes were also highlighted.
Marvel wants to hire more dedicated and experienced TV executives for their show instead of relying on their major motion picture department. Going forward they want to move away from limited series and instead produce multiple full seasons with character arcs and not rely heavily on spectacle and VFX. They cite the upcoming "Echo" as an example of this.
Well that doesn't increase my confidence.

Eh idk. This does
I think Marvel TV needs an overhaul and this might be a step in the right direction. The studio plans on leaning into the idea of multiseason serialized TV, stepping away from the limited-series format that has defined it. Marvel wants to create shows that run several seasons, where characters can take time to develop relationships with the audience rather than feeling as if they are there as a setup for a big crossover event.
They've also been doing these without showrunners so it's good to see that's going to change too
De-emphasized VFX and multi-season doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in me. The draw in these shows to me is filling in gaps between movies and connecting smaller plotlines together (or teasing new ones). If they're going to go with multiple seasons and more "case of the week"/procedural format, a lot of these shows are going to lose a lot of their appeal, especially since without the VFX these are mostly just depowered detective shows.
Thats what I said lol
Classic deflecting.
