Seeing a bit more of the game the combos are better then I thought given the removal of gatling, but damage is just way too fucking high.

And Sol's wild throw doesn't lead to combos anymore RIP (though it does like 1/3rd of the health bar so lol)

Beta doesn't work. Can't connect to any matches, and client randomly crashing. Also, what the fuck are these lobbies?

Awful in what sense? Gameplay isn’t bad, but the common complaints which i agree with are high damage, no gatling, horrible lobbies, and bad UI. Rollback netcode is confirmed for retail release. It sure as hell doesn’t feel like the previous games that’s def true.

Uhhhh alright lmao. Ever played Xrd? Not saying it’s the same game as Strive, but if you look at mechanics, Granblue is a major stepdown from Xrd. Comparing GG from GB is like comparing MvC3 from SF4 because it came from the same company.
