    Played around with and against Goldlewis a bit, think he kinda sucks.

    Dude has absolutely ridiculous damage but he's so fucking slow and his 5P whiffs on like... everything (including standing Gio and Chipp, and the vast majority of the cast while crouching) and his 2P range is awful. He just cannot handle being pressured in anyway if he's out of meter.

    If he lands a clean hit in the corner tho you're probably dead, but the only way he's gonna get you there is you fucked up probably.

    They have completely changed her play style from Xrd, there was no way how she played could function in Strive with the breakable walls

    If I had to wager based on the clips in the video she's basically gonna play like Venom now, who has a heavy oki/zoner style (just with her minions instead of venom's pool balls). Oh and she had a 360 which I think is still in

    She was like a tower defense summon character. Put down houses (that would level up over time) that summon minions, than try to pressure/combo with them like the doll item faust has. In strive the houses are gone, she just pulls the minions directly, than can throw/hit them around (including bounce them off each other like venom from previous GGs). It seems like they can still attack on their own in strive but it will be more about directly knocking them around and commanding them with specials.

    In xrd she also had a command grab, a comboable hit grab that you could choose where to throw the opponent, divekick, and a DP, but I didn't see any of that stuff in the trailer so who knows.

    Venom is one of those characters that are cool to watch but feel insane to pick up. Her tools do sound interesting though. I'll probably give her a try

    I like that it's mostly buffs outside of nerfing the overly oppressive normals used in neutral (Sol/May/Chipp's fS, Ram's jHS) and making Sol's S DP easier to punish

    Also "Increased his options during Brynhildr Stance, making it easier to open up the opponent's defense" is a hilarious sentence. As if the crossup dash, 5 frame +3 on block low, the anti air, the command grab, the guard break, the counter, and the overhead (that is +5 on block if stance cancelled) wasn't enough lol. I am terrified they'll eventually add more recovery frames to his stance cancel, cause man that's gonna fuck shit up for Leo bad if/when they do it. It's absolutely essential to making him a viable character at higher levels of play.

    Buffs to top tier characters while faust is still not even functional lol.

    Jack-o looks pretty boring, lost ALL her specials that aren't directly minion related. I guess that's how it goes in this game when your name isn't sol.

    Well the nerf to Axl’s Jump S certainly doesn’t sound fun.

    EDIT: Oh not too bad. Sounds like we might be able to combo off it now as a trade off.
