They already made a lot of co-eds mad
whoosh?
Situation was a bit different. They were Sec #2 on paper and had a schedule to back it up. They still have a shot of being SEC #3/4 here, and the meat of their schedule is backloaded with a loss already there.
Not saying it wont happen, but Alabama also has The Pac-12 lurking and the potential of 2 Big 10 teams to deal with. The deck is stacked against them this year without the schedule to give them an advantage.
Really though, all of this is moot. Most everyone in that top 10 meet in either a late-season or conference title match-up that will sort itself out.
Hey the rankings match up with my comment a few days ago about those top 4 running the table, (regardless of who loses to whom in the SEC Championship; a Georgia loss could still leave them at 4, if LSU loses they could fall to 2 or 3 and then Clemson and OSU are still definitely in to round out the rest).
baylor shouldn't have even beaten ISU, unfair working conditions smh.
Things aren't going to be clear for 2 more weeks at least. Until then, its all a beauty pageant.
However, both UGA and Clemson need to win out to make the top 4.
PJ Fleck got a new contract, 7 year $33.25M
tua knocked out with a hip injury, carted off
And was apparently "screaming in pain" as they took him of the field
Tua was airlifted to a hospital in Birmingham.
Damn. Hip stuff is scary, like career-ending scary. I always think of Bo Jackson

Sounds like a hip fracture for Tua, similar to Bo Jackson. Surgery tonight or tomorrow.
Tho as plenty are pointing out, we have 30 years of advancement in medical science and the fact that Bo's problems were from him popping his hip back into the socket by himself and not having surgery afterwards.
Edit : dislocated hip with posterior wall fracture is the full diagnosis for Tua
RIP Tua, also RIP his stock in the NFL I think too
in other news, this Auburn offense is the worst I've seen it since Tommy Tubberville, and that offense once won a game 3-2.
like
i feel bad for the defense. they're doing everything they can, and Bo Nix is like "How about I just end our whole career"
like there's no one behind him that's a lil better? seriously?
Sounds like Michigan fans and Shea Patterson
Tho he's actually played well the last handful of weeks
Jonathan Taylor jumped from #12 to #7 on the all-time career rushing yards list today. He's less than 1500 behind Ron Dayne now. Sucks that he won't smash the all time mark (I assume he's going pro after this season)

"Tua Tagovailoa injury similar to Bo Jackson injury. Hip subluxation/dislocation puts femoral head at risk of loosing blood supply and dying. Need to get hip back in place gently ASAP and remove pressure from joint."
Maybe he should have had a rest day this game, but since he started I really don't see an issue with him playing the first half then being pulled.
You don't play until 2-3 minutes left and then get pulled, ever.
