Protesters Interrupt Yale-Harvard Game

A group of students stormed the field at Yale Bowl during halftime of the Yale-Harvard game in a protest on Saturday.

The students sat in the middle of the field and delayed the start of the second half by at least 45 minutes.

Initially, about 40 to 50 students rushed the field and staged a sit in at the 50-yard line, according to NBC Connecticut's Kevin Nathan. Another 500 or so joined in a short time later, but quickly dispersed, he said.

The original protesters remained on the field, until police and security officials began to clear them.

The students appeared to be protesting environmental policies at Yale and Harvard, according to NBC Connecticut sports director Gabrielle Lucivero, who was on the field to cover the game.

Georgia needs to get its offense together. I actually like their matchup against LSU here with our run game, but we CANNOT go up only 12 on a team like LSU and expect to win on defense alone. I hope the dust-up between Swift and Fromm was nothing more than miscommunication.

That said, A&M wasn't an easy out and that is a good team. Our defense holding a team like that to -1 rush yards is impressive.
