i will say the way they briefly portrayed humanity seeing superman as a religious deity in whichever movie it was was probably the most realistic adaptation of how the real world would view superman... they didn't do anything with that story 'cause the movie sucked, but i thought that idea was just way more realistic than "hey, there goes superman flying around saving us again. lets get back to work"

I haven't seen 3 or 4 in like 20 years, but I rewatched 1+2 before Prometheus and goddamnit what fantastic movies, despite how different they are.

I just watched Aliens a couple days ago. I'm old school and still watch movies on cable

Supposedly Alien 3 isn't a hot mess if you watch the directors cut. Even then, Alien and Aliens set such a high bar, nothing is going to ever come close. I can watch those movies weekly and not get bored.

Alien 3 director’s cut is much better than theatrical cut, it’s still third place to Alien and Aliens but still a solid flick.

Not gonna lie Charles Dance performing an autopsy on a 12 year old girl was the most disturbing scene in the entire trilogy.
