    Yeah, they revamped the fuck out of it. So many actions with a 100% chance of success now and from a surface level it seems like crafting will be a lot easier now? The hardcore crafters on here can fill me on. But yeah, even increasing EXP gains and whatnot, it just seems like it'll be easier to craft, craft HQ stuff and to level crafting too

    Also, I just learned Samurai got an ability called Ikishoten in ShB that it gets at level 68 and gives 50 to your kenki meter....


    ...I had Sam at 70 before ShB and got it to 80 a week ago without ever noticing this ability ._.

    Lol, I had a similar thing happen with monk I think. Only after getting it to 70 in SB I noticed I completely missed some mid lv ability on my bar. Granted I never played monk seriously, just leveled it for completion

    Potency nerfs for Samurai, rip. Haven't sat down and done the math but seems like Shoha just makes up for it. SE still doesn't want to make it the BLM melee.

    p sure they explicitly said SAM will look nerfed but it’s actually buffed

    and why rip MNK? I didn’t even think Anant shenanigans were widespread or even particularly impactful. Halving support sucks but we’re also all geared by now so low impact in the grand scheme

    Anatman is a huge part of our opener, putting it together with GCDs instead of making a weave-in oGCD pretty much negated that instant 2nd stack of GL. Because in that dumbass FFXIV bible with the openers, jp thinks the stormblood opener is still viable when that opener has an unbuffed bootshine.

    Personally the mantra nerf wasn’t necessary but w/e.

    Wasn't there a big stink with Anatman's use requiring an ACT trigger/countdown to take advantage of the server tick and optimally do MNK's opener? Otherwise any other opener was more or less the same.

    Did a previous live letter or anything explain/show the NIN changes? I'm reading like two pages of shit in the patch notes, and I'm failing to understand exactly what they did to Ninjutsu.

    Any other opener was a big dps loss, regardless if you utilized the ACT tool to see server ticks or not, the opener was still extremely viable, apparently the new opener requires face-pulling a boss and slidecast into anatman. Lmao just in time for ultimate alexander...

    Depending on how long the cooldown is now with skillspeed, the lower potencies are also probably accounting more Tsubame Gaeshi uses too
