The fact that Iron Banner is the only matchmade activity in the game that provides pinnacle gear irks the fuck out of me. Especially now that my clan is more or less dead on pc. I honestly do not want to have to LFG for everything every week. Cmon bungie.

IDK if it was you guys who introduced me to Coolguy, but he did a video on Season Passes (not what you think). A good watch. He covers a good range of topics bringing up both sides, also brings up the problem with Data-mining.

Only thing I don't particular agree with Cross there is the complete removal of SBMM. Its like turning the Iron Banner problem to 11, and spreading it to every single game mode.

But it definitely needs work, oh lord its far from perfect.

At this point fuck content creators. They've done more to kill the game with bungie catering to their whims that spread through the community like wildfire. LMAO double primaries.

Removing SSBM would do nothing but allow the tryhards who play D2 PvP 50hrs+ a week to stomp on people who can't or don't care to put that amount of time into a largely unbalanced game mode. Unsurprisingly, the only people I see bitch about SSBM are those types of people, and they're salty that they're being matched with others like them. It's almost like the system isn't broken at all.

SBMM has its place, but not in every game-mode. It should not be used in Comp because what's the point of a ranked playlist if you're not matching based on rank? It also shouldn't be used in IB because the level advantage adds something outside skill in determining who wins a match-up.

It does feel like SBMM could be toned down a ~little~ bit though. There is something to be said for not every match being sweaty.
