I want to give some input since I've been a PvP player from day 1 and have evolved from scrub to sweat in that time, so I may be able to provide a unique perspective.

Idk man I just don't feel that way. I don't feel like I'm sweating to eke out a win or like I'm shitting myself every time I get into a gunfight like these youtubers would lead me to believe they feel when they say they want SBMM taken out of the game. I feel like a lot of the stress that these people are complaining about is removed when you don't have to apply yourself as much as the higher tiers. It's a lot less stressful to know that I can miss half my shots and still potentially win a gunfight, compared to knowing I have to land all of them almost flawlessly in order to achieve the same result. I wouldn't be able to sit back and relax if I had to go into tryhard mode every time I queue up for a PvP match, whereas rn it doesn't feel so serious.

Are we assuming that the low level players have hit their cap and thus are stressed out to the point of shitting their pants in low level matches? I could see that, as hard as it is to believe. To me it's more like the time and effort hasn't been invested into learning new skills or improving existing ones to compete at the highest echelons, which wouldn't feel the same as pushing yourself to your limit.

Well yeah I'll agree with that, I guess where my contention is coming from is that it's difficult for me to believe that there's that many people who aren't playing beneath their maximum ability at the skill bracket I'm populating atm.

Spending any amount of time in Classic Mix only proves that SBMM doesn't force people to use meta like SR/Mindbenders. Because everyone in classic still uses Spare Rations/Mindbenders. From the guy with 58 Kills to the guy with 3. Sweaty fucking tryhards will never stop being sweaty tryhards just because they can waffle stomp noobs.

Not saying this is anyones argument btw or presenting this information to disprove anything. Just trying to finish Komodo today and it fucking suuuuuuuuuuuucks. No mode is safe.

So Tassi is like me and never got Rat King. Unlike me, though, he deleted his quest and no current NPCs offer it again. He discovered that you just have to run all the step while partied with someone who has it equipped. I've been on the last step and have cleared many many nightfall, but it has never dropped. Long as the timer has changed, I figure I just need to run one with one of you that already has it.

Just wait till you have the catalyst and cant get it done cus the only way to progress is having others get kills while equipped in ur fireteam. I want to get mine done but just dont want to bother having to freaking lfg for a freaking catalyst

The question is, if you're running a super ape build in Classic Mix, the Lowest stakes Quickplay of D2, am I allowed to BM when I kill you with my dumpsterfire weaponry. I'm thinking yes!

Edit: Also if you think i'm being SUPER SERIAL here and you're going to get butthurt because you run SpareBenders, I'm not being THAT serious, don't have a stroke.

I dont have a good sparebenders, I dont have the time to farm that shit for a couple % advantage on d2s lulzy pvp atm. Trust me I did try to farm them, the drop rates on a good spare rations is so abysmal, I gave up.

I know you are not being serious lol. atm d2 pvp for me is just going in and trying different weapons and having fun with load outs. When they decide to add back modes that have some kind of meaningful progress I will work towards meta loadouts. Although I do see many streamers prepping for trials even now.

I bag LoW, MT, Supernova enough my legs are tired.

This is what they should do, I also rather one single god rolled weapon not be the only go to. Although I am in the camp that says, trials and comp should have a dedicated set of weapons that can only be used in those modes. None of them should have damage increasing perks.

I'm on my 6th straight Comp loss in a row and I'm legit getting frustrated. Rather I carry or I suck ass makes 0 difference its loss after loss after loss. From 4.0kd to 1.0kd Its like I may as well not even be on the team.

Edit: Won #12, had 25 kills, 3.57kd... couldn't continue that so of course lost #13, back to the losing streak. Literally all I need to do is reach Heroic and I'm not touching PvP the rest of the season.

I definitely super tilted, up until all emotion left me and the numbness kicked in, then I managed to get my 3 wins (which is all I needed... haha...ha). Think I played 16 games. Some were close matches, not all bad. Damn I had an easier time getting my Recluse lol

Anyway, Got my 7 Enhancement cores, now time to get Python!

I finished my Komodo a few days ago. I hope to never have to use a linear fusion rifle in pvp ever again because even with arbalest that shit was torture. Idk what felt worse, 125 kills with a LFR in crucible or getting a birthday phone call from my specialist pharmacy saying they hope I keep buying chemo from them for many years to come.
