Ya, there’s a lot of incentive for Dr. Strange and plays they could make. Obviously Marvel wants to do multiverse stuff, Sony wants to piggyback Venomverse on the MCU stuff, not to mention to capitalize on the huge success of the ITSV, and since Spider-man, is their only big IP, more spider/avenues the better for them.

Not a fan of having Dr.Strange as a mentor character when the last movie dealt with pacing the torch and being his own man. Hopefully they’ll avoid that.

Spidey and Strange have been heroes for about the same time. Would be weird for him to be a mentor at this point. I wouldn't call Fury his mentor in the last movie, and I'm sure it would be the same kind of role.

If they're gonna do Spider Verse stuff in the MCU they need to go 100% weird with it. Have the animated Miles Morales from the Spider-Verse movie and the video game engine rendered one from the PS4 video game.

Part of the entertainment for all the spider verse stories in the comics is how over the top they go with all the various characters while (at least attempting to) keeping the story serious.
