"Oh hey, we're playing the Shraks, they're not doing great so this should be a good confidence boosting game!"

Then of course you have Cassie pumping em all up on the broadcast. I get that you're the Flames broadcast, but her stretches are so beyond obvious.
"Lucic looks like a man on a mission, out to prove himself." *cut to picture of Lucic on the bench staring absolutely blankly at nothing*
"Tell ya what though, he definitely showed up to camp in shape and ready to go."
If you have to emphasize that, it definitely doesn't sound like denial.... at all. /eyeroll
Milan Lucic does at the end of game 4? 5? Of the SCF 2013.
Ducks only scored 3 in their game against the shraks. Also I hate these midday games while I'm at work.
Was it? Felt worse with the way this season was going. Coming into last nights game, Jones was giving up 4.5 goals a game.
Pastrnasty with 4 goals today!
Live look at Holtby in net:
Holtby is having some bad games. Gave up 6 goals to NSH, now gives up 3 goals on 3 shots today to the Avs. Pulled less then 10m into the first.
Holtby gave up 3 goals on 3 shots.
Samsonov is in finally
Oilers finally lose to a team that finally wins..... but James Neal still scored, so lol
Dunno what Babcock said to the team in the first intermission, but they look like a completely different team in the second period. Must have threatened to make them skate all the way to DC for tomorrow night's game or something.
Perds with a nice 3g start to the second to take the lead 4-2 against VGK
Not ideal
As awful as Jim Hughson is (and he is), have to give him credit for apologizing for his Matthews-Kane comment during the broadcast
I can see why Buffalo hasnt lost yet. Team has tons of speed and they are all over the Ducks. And that powerplay is lethal.
Yeahhhhh we'll see if they can keep it up all season. They had a 10 game win streak last season and look where they ended up. Mid-season it becomes very apparent they're a young team.
