Flames have been hot inconsistent garbage this year so far. Sure we're in a playoff spot (I think?) but the Pacific is pretty trash this year conveniently. Brutal missed call by the ref’s last night. AV player taking a puck to the head and Canucks score. Play should have stopped. I feel dirty for that 1 point.

Did we ever get an explanation as to why they didnt stop play? I swear I've seen a few other instances like that where they just let the play go when a player is clearly in distress. Hell last night even canucks players were like um you gonna stop this? No? ok we score now get help.

It was something along the lines of "if the opposing team has control of the puck, the play won't be stopped unless the refs deem the injury incredibly severe".

And it looked pretty fucking severe, so just safe to say the refs fucked up.
