Trump Jr. says the the soldiers laid to rest at the Arlington cemetery remind him of the sacrifices his father has made for the family.
Mr Trump Jr describes visiting the US war cemetery where 400,000 ex-soldiers lie outside of Washington DC on the eve of his father inauguration.
His moment of reflection came as the president-elect lay a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknowns.
"As we drove past the rows of white grave markers, in the gravity of the moment, I had a deep sense of the importance of the presidency and a love of our country, " wrote Mr Trump Jr, 41.
"In that moment, I also thought of all the attacks we'd already suffered as a family, and about all the sacrifices we'd have to make to help my father succeed - voluntarily giving up a huge chunk of our business and all international deals to avoid the appearance that we were 'profiting off of the office.'"
He later adds: "Frankly, it was a big sacrifice, costing us millions and millions of dollars annually. Of course, we didn't get any credit whatsoever from the mainstream media, which now does not surprise me at all."
Jesus he's just as malignant.
His dad will never love him because he isn't hot :-/
heh
notice you guys seem to ignore a lot of the .. uh, say unfavorable coverage? Weird how you guys only post negative stuff about Trump.
"Why are people in congress making this decision?" Soooo... she's against anyone being impeached ever?
It's diplomat speak that they are impeaching without political will. I thought it was obvi.
How do they not have political will?
More people favor the inquiry than not.

Nevermind that those house dems took power in 2018, so they most definitely have had the people behind them

You have three sitting Republican senators refusing to sign a resolution denouncing the House impeachment. You had a Republican house member literally leave the party over it. We wanna make comparisons of Republicans denouncing Trump vs Democrats denouncing Pelosi?
Political Will is nothing tangible, in this case Nikki is just expressing her opinion.
I'll also remind you the vote was down the partisan lines, which supports what Nikki said.
edit: wait, didn't a few dems break from the party on the vote?
2 dems did, and the former Republican turned independent voted for the rules.

That's true, 2 Dems did vote against, good thing Democrats won one of the largest midterm victories in history last year and have an enormous margin in the House because of the inordinate political will behind them.

Question:
I've been lurking in this thread and the previous ones for forever and I used to enjoy reading all the misc updates + discussion on the craziness that's happening during this administration, but lately it's devolved into debating Guartz about impeachment. I also enjoy reading these debates but I do miss more in depth discussions about the day to day non-impeachment stuff that is still happening. Would it be worth it to spin off impeachment stuff into a separate thread for said debates and keep this one about misc administration news unrelated to the impeachment inquiry?
