im of the mind of "stop trying to drag others down, just get off your ass and be better than them." yes they suck, yes they do terrible things. (so do we technically.) but that's no excuse to go making the masses there suffer for their governments bad policies. i'd rather that we strove to bring about a better system, one that improves the lives of most people by large margins while working in harmony with the enviornment. then... share that success with the world. it's not the easier path, of course. it's ridiculously difficult. but it's also the only real way you're going to make the world a better place.

Hey instead of being an asshole maybe exercise one brain cell of critical thinking you fucking toad.

How is it in the slightest bit contradictory to not want America to not be in the business of being at constant war in the Middle East and also being horrified at the thought of our President engineering the betrayal and massacre of the best ally we had in the unfortunate reality that two previous Presidents got us in? They're barely even the same subject except in regards to that both not wanting to abandon the Kurds and being opposed to constant U.S. interventionism are both geared towards minimizing human suffering as much as possible.

Not to mention that it took a barely registerable U.S. presence to safeguard the Kurds while they fought ISIS for us to keep the Turks at bay, and now we're sending 2800 troops to Saudi Arabia in case anyone looks at their oil fields the wrong way again so don't pretend like these are equivalent scenarios. Just a fucking disgusting, reductive thing to say, I hope you succeeded in your goal of catching your own jizz in your mouth.
