Yeah. He had some terrible throws that were basic throws a professional QB should make. The players are getting frustrated with him and so are the fans.

I’m over him. Seems like a good kid but he’s gotta go. There was an article about Cam Newton being the improbable savio of the Bears 2019 season. Still need to take a look at that one.

I'd laugh so hard if the Bears took a chance on Mariota. He is literally Tribs with better mobility (that he doesn't know when to use or how to use). I guess I'd rather have him than Crablegs or Newton, at this point. He is mentally broken, not physically broken (Cam) or just plain stupid (Jameis). Hopefully Cam can bounce back...love watching that guy play.

there’s a severe QB drought in the league. Might be some of the worst I’ve ever seen. On one hand I’m upset the bears haven’t drafted QBs in later rounds but on the other hand I don’t even know who they would’ve picked up.

I think Cam would be good for the bears.

You think? I feel like there’s a small selection of competence and then the rest is just mediocre but seems competent due to the severe lack of skill. Maybe it’s just the perspective from being a bears fan.

The teams with a legit QB problem right now (not counting teams that had a QB get injured this year but expect them back eventually) - Bears, Broncos, Bucs, Bengals, Titans, and Skins.

The league has made it extremely easier on QBs to be good, to try and solve this problem. The difference from just Manning's era to today is huge.

rough list of qbs you could at least argue are above average/good

    wentz
    dak
    rodgers
    cousins
    stafford¿
    ryan¿
    cam¿
    brees
    wilson
    jimmyg
    goff
    brady
    jackson
    Big Ben¿
    brisett¿
    watson
    mahomes
    rivers¿

I mean, these are people you could at least argue are competent (idk what to do with rapistberger), and im not including some young guys who we might not know enough about

the issue is the lows are low, but there’s plenty of at least decent-good qb play

Steelers and panthers are rolling with backups, hard to judge overall competency

I forgot the Dolphins actually, they're so bad I barely remember they're an NFL team at this point.

Carr is clearly well above the Dalton line, the Raiders problems in the passing game are entirely from the complete lack of viable WRs currently on their roster.

He's like Dalton, they can flourish in prime situations (great OL, receivers) but get exposed otherwise. Mostly related to being terrible under pressure
