so, luka had +45 on the game. i think that's current game high for anyone this season.

is this worse or is the super bowl loss worse
This is worse lol. SB loss is forever in the past at least
20 more years of Doncic!
But hey, always a chance that Cam Reddish is Paul George in a few years and it stings a little less

i mean, hey i get it. and you never know what'll happen down the line.
pg was my #1 choice back then and the team drafted al-farouq aminu who is on... i don't know what team he's on now.
then george turned into a legit superstar in indiana, and somehow came back to the clips. mind you, this wasn't even the first time the clips passed on a legit 2-way star that went to indiana (danny granger being the first).
saw an interesting question today.
if you were to start a team and draft anyone in the nba, what's your top 5 look like?
think i'm going giannis, luka, zion, ad and then idk who
If we're drafting right now with all players at their current form to be under contract for the same duration?
Lillard, Harden, Luka, Giannis, Davis
If we ignore injuries and assume everyone comes back in perfect shape, I take Curry over Dame and Klay over Harden. Shooting would compliment the other three better anyway.

I'd assume basically everyone would go with Luka/Giannis/AD, they're all absolutely top level players and still super young. The only "issue" with the guards is that all the top tier are getting older, so if you were theoretically building a team with an eye on the future that would be the only hang-up. Steph is 31, Harden 30, Klay and Dame 29.
But otherwise I'd agree with Gred, right now it'd be Harden and Dame, if fully healthy Steph and Klay.
yeah current form, age, new and same contract for everyone.
i have a hard time putting Lillard there because of his age. that said if it were Curry at 29 I'd have virtually no problem taking him top 5
yall trippin balls taking the 30ish guards in a modern draft, Steph + Harden + Lillard + Klay don't belong anywhere near the list unless you want dudes on the edge of decline giving you 5-10 fewer years than the younger guys about to enter their primes
Giannis + Luka are the 1 and 2 no brainers imo, AD is right there but dude is injured p often and a little older. Embiid would be there but for injury concerns. given them for the final two you have to glance at KAT and Jokic for bigs, Tatum Booker and Donovan for perimeter bros. not sure where i'd wind up with them, leaning towards Jokic and Donovan.
postscript it's being ignored but KAT is quietly putting together his resume to challenge Dirk for best shooting big of all time, dude has been >40% from 3 for the past two years and this year is averaging 44% on a monstrous 9 attempts per game.
If we figure Luka and Giannis are your primary ball handlers, don't even necessarily need a traditional PG at that point, can go with primarily a scoring option, which would make Booker ideal.
Might as well so just go fuck it with Luka/Giannis/AD as 2-4 so you can get a "traditional" center like Embiid or KAT to cap it off.
I'd probably lean towards Embiid for the defense since Luka and Booker are both still overly not good there, tho Booker is showing improvement under Monty.
