Nine more NBA players tested positive for the coronavirus last week, the league announced Thursday.

The nine positive tests found between June 24-29 brings the overall total to 25 players out of a pool of 351 that have been tested since June 23. Sixteen players tested positive last week.

The NBA also said 10 of 884 team staff members who were tested were positive for the coronavirus.

No they aren't. I'm assuming some player infections are people who didn't follow quarantine and went somewhere they shouldn't have. Especially younger guys

The Miami Heat have closed their training facility after a second player tested positive for the coronavirus, a source confirmed to ESPN on Friday.

The Heat will have players at the arena over the coming days to satisfy NBA-mandated testing requirements, but the team will not reopen the gym for individual workouts before leaving for the Walt Disney World complex near Orlando, Florida, on Wednesday, a source told The Associated Press.

Sources: Bucks shut practice facility after receiving results of recent coronavirus testing

After receiving the results of a Friday round of testing for the coronavirus, the Milwaukee Bucks shut down the team's practice facility Sunday, sources told ESPN.

It was not immediately clear if there was more than one positive test, but the Bucks plan to keep the facility closed for workouts until the team's traveling party departs for the league's restart in Orlando, Florida, on Thursday, sources said.

The Bucks are one of several teams that have shut down facilities for workouts in the past week, including the Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, LA Clippers and Brooklyn Nets.
