    I feel like we're 0/3 on that but I guess there's always a chance

Trae is weird. he has terrific vision, a sick handle, and has really weaponized his shooting to open up driving lanes but you take a peek at the box score and see a team low -17 in the 36 he played and the Hawks +1 in the 12 he didn't.

he's one of the worst defenders in basketball it is known but i wonder if he might monopolize the rock a little too much for his teammates' sakes. then again there is 0 playmaking on that team and the Hawks need him to manufacture 50 points a night to win. wish he had another playmaker to play off of would love to see him run some Curry-style off-ball action and utilize his shooting gravity to open the floor up.

Dwight at his best was better than Melo at his best and people forgot about him but he wasn't really bad in Charlotte, Atlanta, or Washington (before the injury). kinda going through the motions but still dropping 15-13 on 60% in his sleep. he just needed a reason to play hard again.

meanwhile Melo was terrrrriiiiiiiblllllleee in solid situations in OKC and Houston. don't see what he has left to offer.

Bill Russell accepts Hall of Fame ring 44 years after induction

Russell didn't attend his induction ceremony in 1975. He says he didn't deserve to be the first black player inducted. He tweeted, "I felt others before me should have that honor."

    HOW DARE YE!

but yeah in all seriousness that's how it's going to look sometimes and I was one of the first ones worried he'd be a big stats loser like monta ellis

But our offense absolutely craters without him and we don't have the experienced defenders yet to make up for his mistakes. The hope is that will come in time while he continues to carry the main playmaking burden with guys like the Butcher's Boy, Hunter, and Reddish (please Lord) as secondary playmakers
