The amount of CCing and knockdown bullshit is annoying as fuck. At least let me dodge out of being knockdown. Also, dungeons feel way too long
Dungeons feel long because we are level 20 and cannot 1 shot everything at 10x the movement speed yet...
Yep. Act 1 felt long in 2 and 3 because we were slow as fuck, attacked slow as fuck, and did shit damage.
Gonna take 50 levels to deprogram from Diablo 3's endgame of bullet hell meets DmC.
Got to lv18 on Sorc, probably done for now. It's enjoyable, but definitely skews more towards D3 than D2. Once you start synergizing with aspects and whatnot, combat feels better; kind of like when you respec in D2 into your "real" build. Sorc feels pretty OP as an aside; ran Hydra and just basically drop em and roll all content on the higher world tier.
If cosmetics are your thing, get two more levels so you get everything for retail

I realize it's early content, but the biggest gripe I have about this game is how slow it feels.
Also is the HDR broken in this game? It looks like shit on the aw3423dw
I got in, about an hour's queue. I can't comment too much on the gameplay itself because i only have my auto attack ability unlocked, but Im impressed by the presentation so far. Especially the cutscenes. This does not feel like a Blizzard game at all, lol.
Necro seems pretty good. Pooling up blight and blighted corpse explosion under bosses does some serious damage. Would be nice if the blighted skill effects were a little less... nondescript brown.
I'm sure there'll be skill cosmetics to fix it though...
Gonna give D4 a thumbs up. Didn't see any of the random dungeon layout complaints from last Beta either, but I also wasn't spamming them. Sorcerer animations still need work, as they can look really goofy at times, but not holding my breath on that.
downloaded and played this tonight, pretty fun overall
i wish they'd give us some more of the world spawn boss before beta ends so i could see it, but all good
world boss dropped 9 legendaries (4 from the weekly bonus cache)
I actually couldn't use any of them, and maybe one upgrade extraction dropped. Using rares as a base, and imprinting had already made my gear better than most random legendary drops, since they had +1 levels to skills.
Dungeons could be less a linear hike on a trail but this is promising overall.
Might hafta take vacation from work at launch
thought the beta was pretty kickass. The camera will take a little getting used to (compared to D2 and D3), but love the overall feel of the game. Feels much darker and grittier than D3.
Necro is my favorite class so far... kinda OP.
Anyone have any ideas what is wrong with my battlenet? The small window is the one that graphically updates what is happening but the cursor position on the big window is the one that will highlight buttons on small window.
Game was fun enough to at least play through once. Too bad it comes out at a bad time for me

got to play for about 6ish hours yesterday not including some crap outs through battlenet
game seems fun seems like there’s a lot to do outside of the actual campaign. i liked that there were other random players running around also, felt more mmoish that way
played as a bone spear/corpse explosion necro, everything i did seemed overpowered, though i only got to level 20 and had to stop. the fact that only the actual bone spear cost essence seems silly, the chargeup bone spear move was almost just as good, i only used the actual spear on bosses
