Looks good. It warms my heart to see Peter and MJ mended things.
Hype for it.
Miles Morales game spoiler:
Spoiler: show
Bumping this as a reminder that it comes out tomorrow (not sure why it's listed as June 2nd) since the thread has been oddly quiet.
Currently at 95% on RT with 96 critic reviews.
Thinking I might go see it Sunday or Monday since I enjoyed the first one.
Gonna see it at imax. I’m hyped

Seeing on Saturday.
And I kinda have to laugh when I quickly scanned the negative RT reviews. They aren't even overly negative. It's more like "Meh" or "Mid" instead of outright bad.
it's good. it sags in one or two spots but it's right on par with the first one. the visuals really did level up, the entire movie looked incredible and the end credits were also amazing. dunno if it was my theater but the sound mixing seemed off, the dialogue was pretty hard to make out in a lot of noisy spots, doubly so when spider-punk was talking which is a shame because daniel kaluuya fuckin killed it, he was great
Absolutely incredible film. March can't come soon enough.
They somehow did better than the first one. Just give it all the animation awards now.
It's stupid fucking fun.
made 120 mill opening weekend. well deserved. i still cant believe the first one only opened to 35ish mil, fuckin insanely low
I think no one really knew about it or expected it to be as great as it was back then
It was also a December release as opposed to the Summer blockbuster window between start of may to week after Father's day.
This movie earns the prestigious title of "it could have been 5 hours long and I would still want more" so effin good!
This movie was a freaking spectacle! visuals music was just amazingly done.
It was insanely good even with the annoying pack of unsupervised crotch goblins being annoying as fuck. Best part after the credits several people yelled at them to shut the fuck up and it's as if no adult ever told them no before as they ran out of the theater upset lol.
I saw it in UDC and Dolby atmos and it really takes advantage of it as well.
Easy rewatch as there's so much to catch..

The use of colors to portray emotion of a scene where expressions may not be clearly visible was beautiful, this movie was honestly a huge step up over the first.
I can't remember ever loving a movie this much, literally start to finish, while in the theater watching it. Not only do I have no complaints, I can't think of a single thing that could be improved upon. Just perfect. Not an exaggeration to say this could count as one of the great cinematic trilogies if they stick the landing.
