Blake Snell was on Twitch when word of Tommy Pham getting traded leaked, and well, he was not happy at all. "You mean we gave up Pham for Renfroe and some slapdick prospect?"

the yankees have made signing cole their top priority and cashman has permission from ownership to offer a record breaking deal
Nats have said with Payroll restrictions, they can only have 1 between Strasburg and Rendon.
That’s cute that they think they’ll end up with either.
Rendon turned down a previous offer and made it pretty clear he wanted to test the market and Stras has already sold his home here in the area while remaining non-committal to being a Nat when asked directly.
Could also be a case of addition by subtraction. Rendon basically had a career year in his walk year, which never bodes well for negotiations, and as good as Stras is, I'm terrified his elbow/shoulder will just randomly disintegrate some day.
Washington re-signed Howie Kendrick one-year, $6.25 million deal
Mets owners, The Wilpons, negotiating the sale of their majority stake in the team
Wilpons negotiating to sell controlling stake in Mets to hedge fund manager
Let's hope this won't be Bernie Madoff 2.0
Washington is re-signing Stephen Strasburg
Reported to be 7yrs around 220mil
Edit: Beat by cail.
Didi Gregorious to the Phillies. Sucks to see him go.
Giants sign Gausman for 1 year, 9 million. Also trade for Cozart for some unknown reason, getting him and minor league infielder Wil Wilson for cash or player to be named later. Giants assuming all of the 12mil owed to Cozart. Wilson better be a high end prospect to take that salary dump.
True but he's only a year out from the draft and the Giants have surely scouted him before and since has been drafted
From the angels perspective that's a tough price to get out from under a midsize contract when they're already talent-starved throughout the organization. Even if the guy is never an all-star, there's a ton of value in a cost-controlled regular that plays in the middle IF
