Boras breaks $1 billion in guaranteed contracts this off season with the deal.

What's the standard commission for these agents? 15%, because he just made himself a cool 150 million off of new money contracts assuming they all go to term (no opt outs)
5% I believe is the standard for sports agents.

https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...llette-stadiumFree-agent pitcher Rich Hill and his wife were arrested and fined over an altercation with police at Saturday's Buffalo Bills-New England Patriots game, Foxborough Police told The Boston Globe.
Caitlin Hill repeatedly tried to enter Gillette Stadium with an oversized bag, Foxborough Police chief administrator Robert Bolger told the newspaper. She was arrested on disorderly conduct and trespassing charges after she refused to leave the area when ordered by police.
Rich Hill was then arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after he tried to stop police from putting Caitlin Hill into a police vehicle.
Mets signed Dellin Betances for 1 year, 10.5 million with an escalator to up to 13m if he appears in 70 games. Player option for 2021, and a vesting player option for 2022
The Minnesota Twins have added two veteran arms to their starting rotation, signing free agents Rich Hill and Homer Bailey to one-year deals, the team announced Tuesday.
Sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan that Bailey's deal is for $7 million, while Hill gets $3 million.
Wonder if Hill has a performance escalator that will cover his bail/fine for getting arrested?
Yankee's Pitcher Domingo German suspended the first 63 games of the season for Domestic Violence. Will end up being a total of an 81 game suspension including the games missed while on the exempt list.
I wonder why 63 and not 64 or 62 lol.
They counted the games he was on the exempt list, so it comes out to 81 games, half a season.
Report out from The Athletic that the Red Sox used the replay room to steal signs in 2018 season
This makes me feel a whole lot better.
A lot of freaking tainted championships, MLB needs to come down hard on these teams because this shit is ridiculous

Red Sox and Astro's already making the 2020 season thread title easy. 2020 MLB Regular Season: I stole the sign, and it opened up a fine.
That's 3 years in a row of the Yankees missing the World Series, all by teams credibly doing sign stealing (Astros '17, Red Sox '18, Astros '19). Perhaps their 'once in each decade' streak would still be alive if not for those cheating assholes.
If Alex Cora gets anything less than a lifetime ban than this shit is a joke. That’s two different teams he’s been on in a managerial position that were competing for a championship.
Kris Bryant settled on his arbitration case, 1 year, 18.6 Million.
Not to be outdone, supposedly Mookie Betts crushed the arbitration record by settling on a 1 year 27 Million dollar deal.
