also: DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS WITH BUILT IN ICE MAKERS
From my understanding basically all fridges are made by the same company with various brandings (unless you're nancy pelosi paying 6k for an American made SubZero or something)
It's all "electrolux" with different badging
(this isn't totally true but there's a few majors with like 8 brandings each)

The ice maker on the Samsung is in the fridge, constantly freezes and binds up. There's like 30k page threads on it on their forums. Not a single one works and a lawsuit is being built.
The LG and Samsung are basically identical fridges like you posted but one has the ice maker on the door. The Samsung's is absolute trash they are basically lemons.
Like how basically every high end pair of sunglasses outside of Maui Jim are owned by Luxottica
Anyway I'm not going to replace it, if the virus goes away and I can start raking in cash again we will renovate our early-90s kitchen and maybe I'll move our current old POS fridge (also a holdover from when we bought the house) out there.
My LG french door fridge at my rental house had a bad icemaker/water line too. The maker dispensed through the door but was housed in the regular fridge part. It would jam up, but the bigger problem was that the water line got calcified down to a trickle. We gave up on it.
Oh wait no maybe it's a GE
i think it's a GE
Yeah it is
My buddy has had 3 LG fridges replaced in the last year, luckily all under warranty but I was like dude why do you keep getting another LG lol
