trains are good for cross province/state stuff. i've hopped buses in my youth to go to new brunswick/nova scotia. shit was unfun. on the flip side i've gone out west on both a train and a plane. plane is obviously super fast but the train wasn't a terrible way to get out there either

I was gonna take the train to my parent's place for Thanksgiving but it's like $400 round trip, forget that.

When I lived in Germany I could get a Bayern train pass to anywhere for the entire weekend for like 28 euros.

These niggas at amtrack wanted $187 dollars for one round way trip from DC to NYC.

I don't mind the bus, but I just don't bother with trains. I just fly instead of taking the train. Costs about the same(at least it used to) and get there faster.

Taking the train from CT into NYC is a little pricey for me, but its so fucking convenient to hop on a train and go to a sports event or if youre going down for some fun
