I bailed on a house at literally the last second a few years ago.
Just a string of constant bullshit, survey took forever to get done and that showed the driveway was off the property, had to get legal easements from neighbors. I completely lost interest at that point because the driveway was dogshit to begin with and I was planning on expanding parts of it. Lost a little bit of money with the due diligence but fuck that lol not as big of a deal as being unhappy and stuck. The house was terrific but driveways around here can be absolute deal breakers

And then there's my friend, who she with her husband went through a realtor to buy a house unseen in Cali cause he was getting transferred from Florida to Bakersfield. Survey's and inspections came back clean. They move in, she starts tearing out fixtures and cabinets to redo the kitchen and they discover it's infested with Black Mold.
