looking at the list now it looks like a blow job to all the older hof guys nobody talks about or even heard of. who the shit is earl clark

top 10 nfl all-time all-purpose yard leaders for rbs that are in the hof are:
walter payton, emmitt smith, marshall faulk, ladainian tomlison, barry sanders, marcus allen, curtis martin, thurman thomas, tony dorsett, and jim brown
bam, now that's a sweet a list and took me five seconds
Agreed. I get we sometimes want to go with the guys in more recent memory, but for RBs, that's extremely important considering every decade their value has decreased since we're moving farther and farther away from 3yrds and a cloud of dust.
Watch then go with all modern QBs with gaudy stats.

considering every single rb they chose is in the hof already, i wonder if they actually go that route considering peyton and brady aren't in the hof yet
i bet keep doing what they're doing and go with a lot of sid luckman, bart starr, and roger staubach kinda guys in there
I'd be ok with that. The old school QBs are quite a bit more impressive for the reasons I stated. They were pioneers for the position.

You have to consider the statistical production relative to the era. Not sure if they did that for their RBs but it's vital for QBs since it's basically a different sport now

brady, montana, manning, unitas, marino, staubach, starr, and luckman are probably all locks tbh. then they round it out with some 30s and 40s qbs i never heard of
I'm a homer since he's my favorite player, but Steve Young has gotta be there.
I was gonna say. Young was the original dual threat QB.

Fran Tarkenton*
And probably someone else before him too

if you never made an all decade team list you probably aren't going to make this 100 list. young aint gettin in
edit: actually now that i look at it all the rbs picked are first team all decade players from 1920-1990. not a single all decade second team player was chosen. also none of the 2000 all decade team (LT) made the cut
this shits gonna be easy to predict. i cracked the code. brady and manning aint making this thing
In the 90s who was better then Young other then like.. Favre?
I don't give a fuck how many Super Bowls they won, in no reality should Aikman and Elway be considered better QBs then those two.
elway was the 1st team 90s all decade quarterback and favre was 2nd team. elway will get in
QBs:
Peyton
Brady
Marino
Montana
Unitas
Graham
Brees
Staubach
Starr
Luckman or Baugh (with Rodgers replacing either, and moving up the list further, by the time he is done)
I don't think Young will make their list. Tark is somewhere around the ~20 mark. I don't put the "ring" stock in it like so many others do. There are way too many variables in football, unlike basketball. The QB plays less than half the game and impacts far less than 50% of the plays during a single game. If Peyton was with Bellichek his entire career, he would be sitting on a mountain of rings. Manning and Marino are the best 2 pure QBs to ever throw the ol' pigskin.
What RBs did make it? Did they have the overall position as well or just going "boom heres the RBs"
No order:
Campbell
Brown
Peyton
Sanders
Dickerson
Marion Motley
Lenny Moore
Earl Clark
Sayers
Emmitt
Van Buren
OJ
The fact that they could produce that list, with a straight face, while having Tomlinson host the post-reveal show is embarrassing. Tomlinson was 10x the RB Emitt Smith was...he just had the best O-line in the history of the game. Clark and Motley? Give me a break lol.
I already told you peeps how this is gonna be. It's just a list of all the first team all decade teams from 1920-1990. They'll pick one or two dudes from every decade already voted on by the HoF committee. And it seems like the 2000 team isn't getting any credit, probably because Brady is still playing and they want to stay away from current players. That's all this is.
Check out that link I put in and you'll be able to figure out all 100 players.
