Cool cool. Guess this means I'll never end up going back in my backlog for Bravely Second. Oh well lol
Funny enough I've been playing that in my off time when I can. Thought I should finish that and the 2nd 3DS Phoenix Wright game before I put my 3DS down for good possibly. That or get Metroid/Wario/Mario and Luigi.
Anyway demo was pretty good though it needed polish in some areas IMO:
-Menu UIs needed some polish
-Characters get way too spammy with VAs using brave attacks
-No way to skip/fast forward though dialog when you speak to NPCs
Bravely Default's twitter posted today saying to expect information "soon" on Bravely Default II.
Sorry for squiggles, but couldn't pass up posting best characters from the first game.

Might consider picking this or Octopath Traveler. I played the demo and it was enjoyable, but never played the first.
You don't know what you're missing. The first game is wonderful if you enjoyed the older Final Fantasy games around the 8/16-bit generation.
Though the game's biggest flaw is chapters 6-8 are repetitive as hell. It makes sense in the grand scheme of the story but it can feel like a slog to get through.
The repetition really soured me on the game.
I enjoyed it a lot before that
Yeah I don't think anyone liked it. I'm glad for Bravely Second the story pacing was better though the new jobs really didn't have the same "umph" as the first game's IMO. Though Wizard/Bishop were exceptions.
I started Second but never got very far into it. Wondering if its worth dusting off my 3DS or if I should just play Default II instead.
I enjoyed it though like I said the new jobs felt eh to me.

I really enjoyed Bravely Default and Bravely Second, but Bravely Second was kind of just "more of the same" and not really an entirely new game, so I can see why people would kind of not enjoyed that one as much.
I am really happy they listened to feedback and they may have fixed all the problems I had in the demo? I know I submitted one of those surveys but was obviously a while ago and I don't remember it too well lol. Not too surprised with the release date, the end of this year feels kind of packed with games and next gen as it is.
Enjoyed the Bravely Default until the chapters where you literally had to do everything all over again. Like, literally, repeat the game again.
Right then and their the game and series died for me. Never finished the first, and don't even want to give the 2nd a chance. All because of that specific part in the game.
Hands down, one of the worst section of a game from any game in the history of gaming. Whoever at SE at the time thought that was good game decision, fire that piece of scum dirtbag trash.
Hope this game doesn't have THAT again. This one looks like it'll scratch that classic JRPG itch real nice.
Yeah, I was 'lucky' on an emulator so I just speed through that section, can't imagine playing through that normally, which sucked because I really enjoyed the game until that point
Another demo for Bravely Default II was released yesterday.
Sadly, you can only play it for 5 hours before you have to start over from the beginning (speed run lol??) which is lame af.
Guess I'll just wait for the official release in February.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of timed demos and there doesn't seem to be any reward or progress carrying over from this demo? Game isn't too far away at least.
