    Ehh, there was no way he was going to play anyways. Saints are being smart cause they don't want to disrupt any locker room culture. Possibly lock him up now for next year before any decisions get made. Worst case is they are out the money for one week pro-rated signing, and best case they have him already locked up for most if not all of next season.

    Absolutely. Imagine a 2020 Brees throwing to Thomas, Kamara, and AB. Sean Peyton's offense would be unstoppable. Well worth the risk.
