Winter 2020 Anime

I have nothing against anyone who enjoy the show. If you love it and think it’s better than the original or reboot series that is also fine by me. I have a problem when these two reboots so desperate that they have to go meta to force the audience to like them instead of standing on their own by proving themselves?

They also had the balls to make a corpse Panthero, which I assume is to signify the death of Earle Hyman (Panthero's VA) who died back in 2017.

this the same shit DreamWorks she-ra did but worse. they used the co-creator death to promote an episode after ignoring his death for months.

I'm almost caught up on my hero, I'm looking for some suggestions with DUBS so I can watch at work like some Netflix on in the background. Hopefully stuff I can get on Funimation, Hulu, prime or Netflix. If it's paid Crunchyroll only I'll have to wait till I have a bunch piled up to binge.

Well to start, what are some of the types of shows you like to watch, and what are some of popular shows you have seen? Makes it easier to narrow things down that way.

I'll try anything but I'm digging my hero. Watched super and FMA and death note. Read Naruto and bleach. Was reading one piece got to the water place with the bubbles and took a break, haven't watched any of it. I read Attack on Titan.

Heard something about some demon show from a co-worker.

Might have been Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Netflix has some nice stuff like Fate Zero, Unlimited Blade Works, Iron Blooded Orphans, Carole & Tuesday and more... not sure if they are dubbed. Sword Art Online probably is, Black Lagoon too.

Demon show is Kimetsu no Yaiba. It's pretty good.

If you like Hero Academia, watch Haikyuu too, it's about volleyball but it's awesome. It's sports I know, but it's Shonen Jump which does Hero Academia (and Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, etc, etc), so if you like those, you'll like it. If you want more old-school, watch Hajime no Ippo. Boxing anime that's also funny as fuck. Kind of an older show but still great.

If you want something not shonen jump but still really fucking good:

Netflix has Violet Evergarden which is wonderful
March comes in like a Lion which is one of my all time favourite shows
Silent Voice is a pretty good movie
Little Witch Academia is dope as fuck
K-On gets a lot better in the 2nd season and is just kind of cutesy
Disastrous life of Saiki K is really fun
Kill la Kill is fun, really stylized
Anohana if you want the feels
Your Lie in April if you also want the feels (really loved this show myself)

Some great NA stuff on netflix too, like Avatar the Last Airbender. The people who did that also did Dragon Prince which is great too. Pokemon Sun and Moon is also on netflix if I'm not mistaken, and it's DOPE AS FUCK.

Lmao I'll check out some of those. I think Demon Slayer was it my coworker said it's great.

I really want to catch up in one piece but it's so daunting. I think I'm on like Vol.51 chapter 500, I might at least watch the flights.

I'll check out the Netflix ones always wanted to see the hype behind avatar.

I know it's only the 3rd week of January and it's also only 3 episodes in, but I think it's fair to declare Seton Academy the anime of the year already. Show is amazing.

I remembered someone talking about this so I just had to come check. Halfway through ep1 right now and I've laughed many times, picking it up just now as it ended last week or something. Definitely my sort of comedy where it's all just wacky and crazy. The furry % is all over too.

Also happily learning about animals at the same time.

Might as well go on a furry binge and do DNA and Beaststars after.
