I only did a bit of arcade and training. I'm not sure if it was me sucking or what but I couldn't even do Nash's first trial as the cpu would immediately go into a blocking position after the second hit and immediately block the light sonic boom, seemed like it had to be frame perfect just for it to land.

Even practicing Hworang's combos in tekken 7 on my fight stick wasn't even that frustrating

Yeah the new netcode is good, I played for a bit while waiting for my Xbox to show up.

Random note about the wifi indicator thing for PC players, if only detects if your WiFi is on, not if you're actively using it. So you have to disable wifi to not have the indicator

Hori released a next-gen compatibility chart for their products. Sticks will work on next-gen for backwards compatible games, but will not work for any new next-gen fighters that are released.

I suspect this will be true for all brands.

Hopefully Brooks has converters ready to go when tournaments return. My only question is the fate of universal boards will it be a simple bios update to get them running on next gen consoles? Either way I sure as hell hope I dont have to part with my obsidian hitbox for next gen.

I’m no way parting with my Sanwa swapped HRAP4. It works phenomenal for PS4 and PC, and hell i play Hades on that thing.

I thought sony already said fight sticks from ps4 would work on ps5 fighting games awhile ago.

Specialty peripherals, such as officially licensed racing wheels, arcade sticks, and flight sticks, will work with PS5 games and supported PS4 games.

Weird considering the HRAP4 is officially licensed by Sony. I’ll have to test it and possibly rent Strive on gamefly so i don’t buy it. The original plan is to buy on PC for me.

Blue - Will not work on PS5, at all
Green - Will work on PS5 for all games
Red - Will only work on PS5 for backward compatible PS4 games
