Almost all meta suggestions for CB recommend doing it, the couple extra slots opened up by changing to Rajang Head B+ are mad useful.

why not just augment the weapon with a slot so you dont have to give up an attack v upgrade? you get more attack from the safi upgrade than you do from the augmentation

Idk dawg I ain't trying to figure out the math, just being a sheep and following the meta guides, tho I generally drop Attack to fit in Health Boost and/or Fortify/Geologist for a fair number of weapons.

I grabbed a Teo for now just until I can get that elusive Attack VI. Funny enough I found that on my Water LBG extremely early.

Kulve Taroth is back as a normal MR quest. You can kill her and use old Kulve weapons to upgrade the new MR ones. If you deleted the weapons(like me) old siege(still high rank) will have a higher drop so you don’t waste your time with it.

Ooooo and weapon transmog and Furious Brachy weapons are using the old models (plz plz let the Charge Blade be meta)

Only thing with Alatreon is the power creep is real. If they add in more monsters the only place to really go from there is Fatalis or Lao Shan Lung (or maybe the Deviants from Generations)

all charms that are currently maxed out at 4 going to 5 is nice

i have a feeling the MR kulve weapons will only be good for dbs and bows, considering how powerful safi is for raw, but i use dbs so fuck everyone else i'm excited. hook me up with true critical element on all the dbs

I looked up why the meta suggestion for CB is Teo Essence - for mixed sets with Teo/Safi and Teo/Zorah. But the effective raw if you're not using the mixed set and just opting to open up Rajang Head B+ is basically identical with the Attack V upgrade, so that's why it's generally just recommended to use Teo Essence for all Safi CBs so you don't need to have multiples of the same weapon

And yeah I still got all my Kjarr bows so those + 5 piece Safi? Mmm mmm mmm

So are there any elemental LBGs builds using the Safi weapons or would Blackwing still be better for Sticky/Piercing?

For Sticky/Cluster HBG Safi is not the best.

For literally every other build of every weapon Safi is the answer.
