I really like it for ranged weapons (Sticky bomb excluded), melee absolutely not.

Yeah for my Blackwing it will do wonders. But hell no to melee/spread shots even though I can do 15/17 HP per pellet

I still need to get my safi guns upgraded. Just debating the best way to go about it.

I can personally attest that 4x attack V and elemental cap III works wonders for the RF elemental LBGs along with 4 recoil suppressors. I even dropped ammo up from my gear for resentment because 5 capacity with spare shot charm is pretty comfy.

I may look at that later. Going to turn my Darkshout into a rapid fire Normal I think. I just can't get around spread shot given you need to be up close and that's a death wish on gunner.

I would save your resources for the time being.

The Raging Brachy LBG is apparently an absolute monster for Normal shot (it does roughly 50% more damage then the Drakshot specced for Normal), and it's just over 2 weeks away for PC.

Btw seems like most of the meta guides have been updated for the new shit - https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunt...jiiva_edition/

I was building some stuff and figured Teo Essence on CB was the way to go, but to my surprise apparently the consensus is dropping the Kaiser gloves now, not the head (which makes sense since the Gloves also have artillery+3).

Anyone here a heavy bow user? As someone who keeps getting exploded by Raging Bracy, whats some good recommendations that I should be saving up towards? For Armour I'm currently using 3/5 Kirin for Reward Bonus and 2/5 Fulgur for Stam up.

Also, Is there a way to force some gems? I really want Spread shot and Special Ammo boost gems but I seem to be getting everything but those.

So, I know I haven't played in like two years but do people not capture or do sleep/bombs anymore? Anytime I join an SoS they just go crazy attacking. If I place a trap down, people try their hardest to lure the Monster away from the trap.

I never ran into a capture issue but when I was leveling my Safi darkshot in sieges the past few days I have noticed when I get sleep to proc there's a pretty decent chance someone will go trigger happy and swing.

randomly sleeping shit is asking for it to be woken up. it might not even be the dudes fault. he could be in the middle of a long attack combination and he had no idea you were sleeping the thing

Depends a lot on the specific fight too.

My main cue that something got slept is the music stopping, which for some mobs with not as obvious music (not everything is as dramatic as Nergi) you could miss it.

Stagger/trip animations can start off very similar to the falling asleep one, and like rhyis said if you're already mid animation it might be too late to stop

Maybe. Just seems like monsters have a very generous window before damage can wake them up. That and no music is a pretty huge cue.
