Yooooooo nobody told me there was triple triad in ff14!
Yooooooo nobody told me there was triple triad in ff14!
lawlz i made that exact same post when i started playing
This god damn order rule blows donkey dicks. I don’t remember such a retarded rule at all from ff8.
Actually it’s stupid simple once you adjust your deck and strategy to it.
That’s why they give you 5 decks.
1 for order
2 for reverse
3 for same/plus
4 for stacking strong on left
5 for stacking strong on right
Depending on the rules/what your opponent is using you can easily win a majority of the time unless roulette, swap, or chaos screws you over.
RNG on card drops is a real sonuvabitch though, played for two straight hours trying to get Bahamut card to drop one night
How the fuck do you cast Verfire/Verstone on Rdm and how do you get them ver ready?
Verthunder has 50% chance to trigger Verfire ready
Veraero has 50% chance to trigger Verstone ready
Make sure you are reading the tool tips for your actions, they’ll spell it out for you https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/jobguide/redmage/
Most outside settlements when you are around level 50 will have a practice dummy for you to practice rotation
Yeah I’ve been reading all the tips. I got the general gist of the rotation down. I just didn’t see anything specifically for the ver ready stuff.
Also, the RDM quest giver looks dapper as fuck.
He wears the RDM artifact armor, you’ll get your own set after completing the level 70 job quest. And indeed he is fancy.
Anybody on Aether and hasn't done the new FFXI storyline yet? It's making me wanna play but I don't wanna do it by myself.
I’m on Primal. I can make an alt on Aether but it’d take a while to get there. Like a few months lol
Xno which world/data center you on? If you haven’t subbed yet I can give you my referral code if you are gonna sub anyway and we can get some free shit.
my level 51 samurai is in Aether just so you guys know
Done with the free trial. Subbed like two weeks ago.
Also unless it has to do with level, 51 atm, there’s no way Verfire/Verstone are 50% procs off verthunder/veraero. I feel like I’m missing something here.
Anyways, just got done with the Garuda primal fight in ARR.
Spoiler: show
Nope, no level requirement other than what the spells require to cast. You get a skill at level 50 (Accelaration) that will make Verfire/Verstone be 100% proc in your next three casts. Good to use in the burst phase of your rotation.
So the thing with RDM is how it has the job trait where every other spell gets instant cast. So you should, in theory, be using Jolt (single target) or Scatter (AOE) because they have such low cast times. When you get to instant cast, use that for Veraero or Verthunder instead of hard casting them. This will make your Verfire/Verstone proc more often (or seem like it anyway) because you are going to be chain casting pretty much.
I’m gonna have to mess around with it some more tonight. I couldn’t get them to proc at all. Even with Acceleration up. Got Verstone to proc once and that was only when my white mana was crazy high.
Localization team at it again.
