How come I can’t resell certain items I bought off the market? Trying to resell the deepgold set I had for my GNB as well as a few other items and it’s telling me I can’t. I repaired them all and it’s still not letting me.

Kinda broke after I decked him out in full exarchic gear.

You can’t resell gear after you equip it. It’s bound to you forever.

You could sell it to a vendor probably for pennies. Some gear you can trade to your Grand Company requisition officer to get allied seals, then use the seals to buy gear or items to sell or use.

Got to thinking on this more. If you level ARC you can do two jobs at once because it becomes SMN and SCH when you hit level 30. They share the same level and xp and you can flip between the two if you want. So if you take SMN to 80 you’ll get SCH at 80 as well. This is notable because Shadowbringers introduces role quests. There is a role quest for tanks, healers, magical dps and physical dps. If you do them all, you unlock more quests that are super interesting additions to the story. And the healer role quest is by far the best one.

level crafter, desynth old gear for slightly more pennies

I know it’s early for me to be asking, but when should I start looking into endgame equipment? Got the best of what I can for my GNB/RDM off the market board.

Also, do I need to start making macros for min/maxing each gear for each skill a la FFXI?

You can’t change gear while in combat, so no.

You are gonna be restricted to stuff on the market board until you reach the end of Shadowbringers story. Once you finish SHB you’ll unlock the latest form of tomestone gear and you can do the Eden raids or Bozja.
