How about making your own food? Probably safer and healthier.
But........most places are selling take out or delivery adult beverages.
Dim; I can tell you even tho I DO cook; Some nights a gal don't want to; that's when you go order fast food or takeout one way or the other. (Can be a multitude of reasons why from too busy to argh-the-stove-broke)
Anyway I think it was mentioned elsewhere, but Domino's is offering a 50% off deal on their pizzas until the end of the month.
Rick Grimes ain't ordering take out. Get in the kitchen y'all!
BG being overrun with Facebook Karen's, sheesh. Like good on your for having prepped home cooked meals every day, but my life is in shambles and the only good cook I ever had in my house was my brothers wife and they moved out months ago.
Side note; I'm trying Wingstop for the first time today, I hope its worth the price.
1. I am still working, and to some degree even more than before. This isn’t a vacation for me. And that will be the same for others.
2. We are limited on what we can buy due to other hoarders and don’t want to be going out every other day trying to find stuff as that greatly defeats the purpose. (Wingstop was a nice treat for my family today as I have found zero chicken product at the stores.)
3. Many people have lost their jobs and are making income due to the rise in delivery service. World economy does not need to crash and burn.
4. Just because someone gets delivery now and then doesn’t mean they are not cooking on other days.
haha. But yeah, stop it. I can certainly understand folks being busy like that, Ksandra.
I've been keeping my eyes on the Fast Food reddit, so if I see anything I'll post here. To be honest I'd <3 a Cinnabon coupon or deal if they are still open; The brother with the cancer has asked for cinnamon buns after every chemo treatment, and I overheard him telling my youngest brother (the brother with the cancer is the middle one.) that he'd <3 a Cinnabon, but those are so pricy...
We're planning on getting him some from Publix though, since he mentioned he really likes those too. ^^ And yar, even tho my butt's at home, we've resorted to fast food a time or two when things just got nuts. Can count it on my fingers, but yes it happens to us all. Anything from a day where you're so busy you never can even get out a frypan to ARGH, the stove broke. I've seen it all.
[Edit] Okay from the Reddit:
Panda Express is offering a $20 family meal deal IF you use the app. That's two large sides with three large entrees of your choice. Not a bad deal for a family if you like Chinese. ^^ I think that'd feed a family of four maybe, but I haven't bought stuff there.
Been cooking every day since the pandemic started but I'm getting tired of it lol. Would love a nice take out or delivery meal soon. Prolly once a week until we get locked down and the Mrs can't work. It's a small business so she won't get paid meaning we both gonna have to suck it up and start cooking more.

I can understand getting take out, like once a week. I just don't think it's a good idea to make it a daily habit.
Did.. did anyone suggest so?
I'm looking through the thread, and not seeing it.
I too cook from home. Praise me.
Okay. Subway's offering a 2 for 1 deal; Free footlong when you order though the app and delivery; Promo code subwaynow.
I have the app so I just saw that!
Chipotle has free delivery until the 31st.
Buffalo wild wings 10 wings and fries for 9.99
Panera free delivery all March.
Cheesecake factory free slice of cheesecake with online pickup order over $30
Olive Garden doing a BOGO, $12.99 for hot entree, frozen entree, soup/salad, and 2 breadsticks.
Have some OG gift cards I got from.. last two Christmas's? We never really go. For like $15.50 it was a pretty good meal.
The bad was waiting in their parking lot for 45 minutes. Apparently they were out of the Gnocchi soup I ordered, and the guy said they close at 9 but they were making some just for me. (I ordered at 7:40 and was there at 8... it was 8:40 when they finally told me wtf was going on.)
I know this is all new and different, and people are trying their best to adjust, but 40 minutes? c'mon...
On the bright side we got 2 soups and 4 breadsticks out of it. Extra bonus dinner for tomorrow!
If you have a chase sapphire preferred or reserve (great card airline miles), you can get free door dash dashpass for 2 years.
Also get $120 I’m state, end credits, but idk how that works.
It's like the travel credit on the reserve. You spend $60 on DD this year, an offsetting credit posts. You spend $60 on DD next year, an offsetting credit posts.
Does that include food costs, or just the service fees?
