SE must have put in a lot of capital towards voice directors after 4.0, because the VA work in 5.0+ has been absolutely stellar. Lyna, Elidibus, Seto and so many other new voices just crushed it.

I feel like the writers know how much the fans appreciate what they've accomplished. That probably means more than generic media (who can't game for shit, most of the time, and never spend enough time with products to truly understand them) praise.

Both of the Nier raids have sucked on BLM for me inititally at least. So much damn running around in combat to do

I ran Puppet's Bunker on Rdm for the first time because of the worry of having to run around a ton too but I didn't find it nearly as bad as my first time running the first raid. By the end I was wishing I took my Blm instead =X

Incidentally I mostly want to get Sam gear from the raid and yet don't really plan on playing Sam in it... so maybe I should do that >_>

So I initially thought the Ascian that helps us escape was an incarnation of Azem... which now that I think about it doesn't make sense since we're the sundered soul of Azem. But someone posted this on reddit and it clarified it perfectly and just made the moment that more 'oh wow'

Everything is always held back by consoles. I know it'll never happen because Japan will never not make something for PS to support Japan and their nationalism, but to imagine what a PC-focused, PC-onry MMO would be like.
